Cisco Systems leads the industry with the first enterprise-scale, real time, network intrusion detection system. The Cisco Secure Intrusion Detection System (CSIDS) is capable of protecting an organization's network perimeter, extranet and internal networks by detecting and automatically stopping network intruders attempting to gain unauthorized access.This 4-day course is designed to teach students how to use the CSIDS to detect and respond to unauthorized activity on a network, and how to manage and communicate the unauthorized activity data in an intuitive manner.

The prerequisite for this course is Managing Cisco Network Security (MCNS).
