This 2-day course introduces administrators and other IT professionals to Citrix Access Gateway 8.0 Enterprise Edition and prepares them to install, configure and administer the product. Interactive instructor-led discussion and hands-on labs and exercises guide learners through administrator tasks preparing them to manage Citrix Access Gateway 8.0 Enterprise Edition deployments.
Upon completion of this course, learners are able to:
- Deploy Access Gateway 8.0 Enterprise Edition
- Configure an SSL VPN virtual server
- Create policies to customize VPN behavior
- Customize VPN client behaviors and portal pages
- Configure Access Gateway to integrate with
- Presentation Server
- Configure SmartAccess policies.
This course is recommended training that prepares candidates for exam 1Y0-309 Citrix Access Gateway 8.0 Enterprise Edition: Administration, which is required for certification as a Citrix Certified Administrator (CCA) for Citrix Access Gateway 8 Enterprise Edition.

- Working knowledge of basic routing and layer 2 switching concepts
- Working knowledge of commonly used network appliances
- Knowledge of AAA (authentication, authorization and auditing) protocols
- Basic knowledge of command line interfaces
- Basic knowledge of VPN concepts
- Knowledge of desktop operating systems (Windows and Mac OS) and desktop security concepts
- Basic knowledge of Citrix Presentation Server, web servers and file servers
- Knowledge of certificate management and basic understanding of SSL Key Skills.
