Training/course: Dreamweaver Intermediate
Course Description
You are already familiar with Dreamweaver but now want to get more out of the program. During the intermediate course you will become familiar with more advanced aspects of Dreamweaver. You learn to carry out calculations, exchange data, and attach search functions. Gradually you will learn to develop a dynamic website.
Online shops, e-learning systems, forums and other dynamic websites use CMS (Content Management System) to display up-to-date information to their site visitors. In this course you will develop CMS so that you can quickly and easily maintain and update a dynamic website.
The Dreamweaver intermediate course can be delivered in three different program languages. You can choose to proceed with ASP, Coldfusion, or PHP. All three languages are supported by Dreamweaver and all three are covered in our course books that you will be given.
Course Contents
The following subjects will be covered during the course:
- Data exchange between sites
- Making Web- en Mail Forms
- Executing calculations
- Establishing Database links
- Filtering and recalling data
- Applying a Search Function to your site
- Creating an authenticated Login for Users
- Managing content with Forms
- Creating and developing a small CMS
Course Prerequisites
Dreamweaver Foundation course or equivalent level.
Comments
The course is given in English and the course books may be taken away. During the course you will work on PCs, but the training is also valid and appropriate for MAC users.
This training course is given as a tutorial in a Web-design class. Each participant will work on their own course and at their own pace under the careful and diligent guidance from a highly experienced tutor. This class-based tutorial system has been tried and tested by us for many years and proves to be a satisfying and rewarding teaching method.
The most recent version is always used for our courses, but older versions can be used on request.
