In brief. Google Gemini is a 1-day classroom course. You take it in Amsterdam and The Hague, in a group of no more than 8 participants. The price is EUR 625,- excl. VAT per participant, including course materials, lunch on location and a certificate of attendance. For a team or department we also deliver this course in-company.
Google Gemini helps you to write, summarise, analyse and plan more quickly. In this course you learn how to do that without losing control or quality.
Gemini is Google's generative AI assistant and is woven into products such as Gmail, Docs, Sheets and Drive. This allows you to use AI in the places where you already work, without switching between separate tools. In this course you discover how Gemini can concretely lighten your day.
You start with the basics: how generative AI works, what Gemini can and cannot do, and how to handle your data responsibly. After that you practise with effective prompts, analysing information and automating recurring tasks. You apply everything directly to your own work or study examples.
After this day you will have a workable approach for using Gemini on a structural basis. You will know when AI saves you time and when you are better off staying in control yourself.
After the course you know how Gemini works, when to use it and where its limits lie. You write prompts that produce usable output, you analyse information more quickly and you automate tasks you previously did by hand. That saves you time in your work or studies and leaves more room for what really matters.
This course is intended for professionals, entrepreneurs and students who work with Google and want to use Gemini to work faster and smarter. You do not need any experience with AI. Whether you work in marketing, HR, education, administration or another role: if you type, read or organise a lot every day, this day will deliver something immediately.
You work in a small group with an experienced trainer who is at home in generative AI and the Google environment. Theory and practice alternate, and you get started straight away with assignments and cases. You are welcome to bring in your own work or study examples, so that what you learn is immediately applicable. Afterwards you receive a Learnit certificate of participation.
No prior knowledge of AI is required. Basic skills with Google applications such as Gmail or Docs are useful.
None in particular.
The course is given in Dutch as standard. The trainer speaks English. English-language course materials can be used. If at least 3 participants register, the course can also be given entirely in English.
Would you like to organise this training for a whole group or several groups? This can be cost-effective. For example, we can tailor the content entirely to your organisation, and training a whole group is also cheaper.
Are you looking at large numbers of participants or a complete academy? That involves a great deal. Consider planning and communication, for example, or identifying and agreeing the objectives and content of the training. Or differences in level, feedback mechanisms and safeguarding. Fortunately, Learnit has extensive experience in this field (more than 25 years) and we are happy to help you through this process.
1 training day. In order of date.
No suitable start date? Send us a date request, and we'll look at the options together.
Plan your own group on a date that suits you, at your office, at our premises or online. We tailor the content to your day-to-day work, and training a whole group is cheaper than individual bookings.

"I thought everything was good! Perfect"
"For me, the biggest plus was that the course material is very clear. This means you can follow the course at your own pace, without the stress of wondering what they actually mean. I was very pleasantly surprised. I should say, though, that I already had some knowledge of Access."
"Good, substantial training course; tailored to the participant's question."

Gemini is Google's generative AI assistant. The tool helps you with tasks such as writing text, summarising, analysing, generating ideas and looking up information. Gemini is integrated into Google products such as Gmail, Docs, Sheets and Drive, so you can use AI in the places where you already work.
The course is suitable for professionals, entrepreneurs and students who work with Google and want to use AI to work more efficiently. Think of roles in marketing, HR, education, administration or management. You do not need any experience with AI to take part.
No, prior knowledge of AI is not required. It is useful to have basic skills in Google applications such as Gmail and Docs, as you will be practising in that environment.
You learn how generative AI works, how to use Gemini within Google applications, and how to write effective prompts. You also practise analysing information, automating recurring tasks and handling your data responsibly.
Yes, afterwards you receive a Learnit certificate of participation. This confirms that you have successfully completed the course.
Yes, we also deliver the Google Gemini course in-company or as a tailor-made programme. In that case we adapt the content to the Google environment and the working processes within your organisation. Contact us to discuss the possibilities.
Both are generative AI assistants, but they come from different companies. ChatGPT was made by OpenAI and runs on GPT models. Gemini was developed by Google and is deeply integrated into the Google working environment, such as Gmail, Docs, Sheets and Drive. Do you work a lot with Google? Then Gemini is often closer to your daily workflow.
Yes, if you use Gemini within Google Workspace the tool can work with the content of your e-mails, documents and files in Drive. That is what makes it so powerful. In the course we pay attention to what this means for privacy, confidentiality and responsible use, so that you know which information to give the tool and which not.
A good prompt gives Gemini clear context, a concrete task and the desired format. Describe who you are, what you want to achieve and the conditions the output must meet. The more specific your question, the more useful the answer. During the course you practise various prompting techniques on your own work examples.
Think of drafting standard e-mails, summarising long documents or meetings, structuring data in Sheets, writing first versions of reports and generating ideas for content. Gemini does not take over the thinking, but it speeds up the steps on which many people lose time.
That depends on the subscription and the settings within your organisation. Different rules apply within a business Google Workspace account than in a private environment. In the course you are given tools to determine which information you do and do not entrust to the tool, and how to align your policy accordingly.
