That is always possible, entirely geared to your leadership question.

The price of executive coaching is available on request, because a programme is tailored entirely to your situation and goals. Extending or deepening the programme is always possible. Contact us for a tailored quotation.

Yes, you can take executive coaching online or on location, in consultation with your coach. Many leaders opt for a combination: an in-person introduction followed by online sessions that fit more easily into a busy diary. The format is entirely tailored and is geared to your working rhythm, travel distance and preference. That way you keep flexibility without giving up depth.

Executive coaching is intended for experienced leaders who want to strengthen their personal leadership. Think of CEOs, directors, board members and management team members in commercial or public organisations, and (senior) managers with a role in strategy, change or complex decision-making. You do not need any specific preparation. A willingness to look at yourself honestly is enough to start the programme.

Executive coaching focuses specifically on leaders at the highest level, such as CEOs, directors and management team members. Where regular coaching often has personal development as its aim, executive coaching is about leadership in complex organisations: strategic decision-making, boardroom dynamics, responsibility under pressure and impact on your team. The coach is experienced with issues at director and board level and offers a discreet, independent sounding board.

An executive coaching programme starts with a no-obligation intake to map out your situation, goals and context. This is followed by a standard 5 sessions of 60 to 90 minutes with an experienced executive coach, online or on location. The coaching is 1-on-1, confidential and fully tailored. You combine reflection, practical tools and strategic thinking. Extending or deepening the programme is always possible.

Executive coaching suits you if you already hold a leadership role (CEO, director, board member or management team member) and are working on issues specific to your own situation and context. A leadership course works with a fixed curriculum and a group of participants, and is suitable if you want to build general knowledge and skills. Coaching is one-to-one, confidential and entirely tailored. You decide on the themes yourself: decision-making under pressure, communication in the boardroom, the balance between work and energy, or the dynamics within your team. Choose coaching if you need to reflect with an independent sounding board, and if your issues are too personal or strategic for a group setting. Not sure? The intake is without obligation and helps you make that choice.

An executive coaching programme is entirely confidential. What you discuss with your coach stays between the two of you. Nothing is reported back to HR, your board or a client, not even if your employer is paying for the programme. The coach has no obligation to report on the content. At most, it is confirmed in broad terms that sessions have taken place, for invoicing purposes. That confidentiality is precisely why executive coaching works for directors, board members and management team members: you can be honest about doubts, boardroom conflicts or strategic dilemmas without it affecting your position. If you want to share insights with your team or organisation yourself, you decide what and when. At most, the coach helps you think about how to do it.

Yes, that is possible and it happens almost every time. Executive coaching at LearnIt focuses on your personal leadership and on the dynamics within your team or organisation. In practice, issues that come up include a management team that isn't running smoothly, a difficult boardroom situation, a strategic decision you need to make or a conflict with a fellow board member. The coach helps you reflect on your role in it, sharpen your communication and make choices under pressure. The difference with organisational consultancy: the coach does not solve the issue for you, but strengthens your ability to take charge of it. You work with 5 sessions of 60 to 90 minutes, online or on location. You can always extend if an issue requires more time.

Both formats offer space for reflection, but they work differently. In a peer group or intervision session you exchange ideas with other directors or board members about your respective issues. The group itself is the source of insight, and the agenda is shared. Executive coaching is a 1-on-1 programme with an experienced coach, entirely focused on your situation, leadership style and issues. A programme consists as standard of 5 sessions of 60 to 90 minutes, online or on location, and is confidential. You choose coaching if you want to work on personal patterns, pitfalls or decision-making under pressure without colleagues or peers listening in. Peer groups are a better fit if what you mainly need is recognition and exchange. In practice, leaders often combine the two formats.

Yes, that is possible. An executive coaching programme is tailor-made and the content is not fixed after the intake. If after a few sessions you notice that the click with the coach is not quite right, or that your issue is shifting, you discuss that openly. In practice, the focus regularly changes during the programme: from decision-making under pressure to the dynamics within your management team, for example, or from personal energy to strategic positioning. Changing coach happens less often, but is possible if the match does not work. A standard programme consists of 5 sessions of 60 to 90 minutes, and extending or deepening it is always an option. This flexibility is what sets a coaching programme apart from a fixed training programme with a predetermined curriculum.

Both are possible, and in practice the two reasons occur roughly equally often. Many leaders start a programme following a concrete trigger: a new role, a reorganisation, tension within the management team, or a boardroom conflict. Just as often there is no acute reason, but you want to stay sharp, examine patterns or prevent yourself from getting stuck. Executive coaching is not an intervention for underperformance. It is a reflection instrument for experienced leaders who want to strengthen their decision-making, communication and resilience. Compared with leadership training, here you work one-to-one on your own situation, not on general theory. A programme consists as standard of 5 sessions of 60 to 90 minutes with an experienced executive coach, online or on location. Using it preventively often works better, because there is room to look at things calmly rather than to repair under pressure.
