A 19-minute walk from Amsterdam Centraal. A 4-minute walk from the 'Muziekgebouw Bimhuis' tram stop. A 3-minute walk from the 'Piet Heinkade' bus stop.
Very close by (but pricey) - Piet Hein car park
Directly beneath the Muziekgebouw you can park in the Piet Hein car park.
Cheaper alternative - Parking Oosterdok (Oosterdokstraat 150)
The entrance is beneath the Amsterdam Conservatorium. This is at the rear of the Openbare Bibliotheek Amsterdam. On Oosterdokseiland, follow the signs for 'Parking Oosterdok'. From this car park it is about a 10-minute walk to the Muziekgebouw aan 't IJ. From Parking Oosterdok it is a 10-minute walk. Follow the Annie M.G. Schmidtstraat to the end, as far as the Oosterdoksstraat. Here you turn right until you reach the water and then walk to the left, underneath all the rail, road and tram viaducts. There you can take the steel staircase up and you will come out on the Piet Heinkade. From here you will see the Muziekgebouw aan 't IJ on your left.
Please note: parking costs are at your own expense.

“Understanding the components of the annual accounts better and also looking at them from a bank's point of view. Working with them more often so I can form a picture of where an organisation stands more quickly.”
P. Steur - HDD BV- Reading Financial Statements
"A pleasant course in which you get a good impression of the highlights of annual reporting and annual accounts (accounting policies, balance sheet, P&L, cash flow statement) in two half-days. Plenty of scope for interaction and specific questions. You don't really do practice exercises, but in my view working out cases in detail is not the purpose of this course either. Given my background I already had quite a lot of prior knowledge and I mainly appreciated being able to refresh some theory here and there, dot the i's and put forward specific matters I have come across in my current work."
G. Cappon - CBS- Reading Annual Accounts
“This course gives you basic knowledge of annual accounts, the balance sheet and the profit and loss account. You learn how they are structured, what the figures mean and which choices lie behind them. The course is practical and substantial; during the course you are challenged to practise the material with a number of assignments. In-depth material is provided so you can take it further. An excellent foundation!”
G. Schurman - Agora- Reading Financial Statements
"A great course if you want to gain enough knowledge within a few hours to understand a set of annual accounts and interpret them in broad terms. Some financial insight is required - then it is a perfect fit."
