Planner premium

Within Microsoft 365, Planner Premium is a fully fledged way of planning and managing projects. In this course you learn how to approach this in a structured and workable way, together with your team.

Description

Within Microsoft 365, Planner Premium has grown into a serious alternative to Project Online. You get more structure, more coherence and a direct link with the tools your team already works in. At the same time, that raises questions: how do you set up a project logically, how do you keep track of dependencies and when do you opt for baselines?

During this course you set up a central project environment, structure plans clearly and work towards a realistic schedule with milestones, dependencies and management information. Each step is linked directly to your own project or a practice case.

Afterwards, you will be able to use Planner Premium independently to plan projects, track progress and make targeted adjustments. You will also know how to position the tool alongside Planner (basic) and Project Online.

Result

After the course you can set up a Planner Premium project independently with a clear structure. You create a realistic plan with milestones, a timeline and dependencies, and track progress and deviations so that you can make targeted adjustments. You work with your team in a single up-to-date environment with clear agreements, and you can use Planner Premium as an alternative to existing Project Online working methods.

Target audience

The course is intended for project leaders, planners, PMO staff, team leads and key users who want to organise planning and progress in Planner Premium. Experience with Planner or MS Project is not required; knowledge of working in projects is useful.

Teaching method

Short and practical. First the explanation you need, then mostly doing. You work with your own example (or with a practice case), receive direct feedback from the trainer and translate every step into your day-to-day work. Classroom-based, interactive and down to earth, in a small group.

Prior knowledge

No specific prior knowledge required. Basic knowledge of project-based working is useful, but not a requirement.

The training is given in Dutch as standard. The trainer has a good command of English. English-language course material can be used. With a minimum enrolment of 3 participants, the training can also be given entirely in English.
