What prior knowledge do you need for the Copilot Studio for Power Platform course?
You are familiar with Microsoft 365 and SharePoint at user level. Experience with Power Apps or Power Automate is useful, but not essential. Programming experience is not required; everything is done in the visual low-code editor of Copilot Studio. Do make sure you have activated a Power Apps Developer Plan or trial environment, so that you can build along from the start.
Who is the Copilot Studio for Power Platform course suitable for?
The course is suitable for Power Platform developers, low-code specialists, automation staff, IT professionals and knowledge workers who want to build agents and chatbots themselves. Consultants who handle Copilot implementations for clients will also get plenty out of it. In short: anyone who wants to use AI assistants within the Microsoft ecosystem without depending on developers.
What exactly will you learn during the Copilot Studio for Power Platform course?
You will learn the complete agent development flow: architecture (topics, entities, knowledge sources), designing dialogue paths, connecting SharePoint and OneDrive, calling Power Automate flows, authentication via SSO, multilingual support and publishing to Teams or an external website. Governance and analytics are also covered, so that you can use Copilot Studio responsibly.
Can the Copilot Studio for Power Platform course also be taken online or in-company?
Yes. The course can be followed both in the classroom on location and online via Microsoft Teams. If you take part online, you simply join in the same exercises and have live contact with the trainer and fellow participants. In-company is also possible: in that case we build the programme around your own use cases and Microsoft environment.
Do you receive a certificate after the Copilot Studio for Power Platform course?
Yes, afterwards you receive a Learnit certificate of attendance. This is not an official Microsoft exam certificate, but it is widely recognised in the market as proof that you have acquired the skills. If you want to go on to a Microsoft certification, this course gives you a solid basis for continuing on your own towards PL-400 or PL-500, for example.
Which course materials and teaching methods does Learnit use for this course?
You will receive a comprehensive workbook with all the project templates, a knowledge base document to practise with and access to Copilot Studio via your own Power Apps Developer Plan. The delivery format is entirely hands-on: short pieces of theory, immediately followed by building exercises. You work in a group of no more than eight participants, so the trainer can look over your shoulder during every exercise.
Why choose Copilot Studio instead of an external chatbot tool?
Copilot Studio is deeply embedded in the Microsoft ecosystem. You have native connections with SharePoint, Teams, Power Automate and Microsoft 365 Copilot, which makes implementation and management a good deal simpler than with external tools. What's more, your data stays within your own tenant, which keeps compliance and governance simpler. If your organisation already runs on Microsoft, Copilot Studio is usually the logical choice.
