A two-day course just for your group. You choose the date and the place, and the trainer tailors the content to your practice beforehand.
Payroll tax is complex material that changes constantly. During this course you get to grips with the current rates, tables, allowances and schemes, so that you can complete the payroll tax return independently and without errors.

"The course is very instructive. You learn a great deal in a short time. Some prior knowledge (professional jargon and the like) is required. The course is varied and interesting."
Wherever suits you: at your office, at one of our training locations or online. You also choose the date.
Yes. Before the course we discuss with you what the group can already do, where things go wrong in practice and what should be different afterwards. The trainer uses examples and exercises from your own work.
That depends on the course. For a skills course we prefer to work with a small group, so that everyone can really practise. If more people are involved, we schedule several groups or set up a fixed programme.
You get a fixed price for the whole group, in a tailored quote. For a group this works out cheaper than booking everyone individually. For comparison: a place on the scheduled course costs EUR 1250,- excl. VAT per participant.
Yes. For in-company courses we deliver the training in the language of your choice, Dutch or English. Mention it in your request.
Yes, every participant receives a certificate of attendance afterwards.
Via the quote form: state the course, the number of participants and roughly where and when you would like it. An adviser will then contact you.
You learn how to calculate payroll tax and how to file the payroll tax return. Day 1 focuses on gross pay, net pay and taxable pay, together with the current tables, rates and legislation. On day 2 you work with tax credits, allowances, benefits in kind, the work-related costs scheme, social insurance contributions and payroll tax rebates.
The course is intended for (financial) administrative staff, payroll administrators, HR staff, personnel administration staff and anyone within the organisation who is responsible for payroll tax and the payroll tax return to the Dutch Tax Administration.
No specific prior knowledge is required. A basic knowledge of payroll administration, financial administration or HR will help you get started more quickly, but is not a requirement.
Wage tax is the tax that the employer withholds from the employee's salary. Payroll tax is the broader term and, in addition to wage tax, also includes national insurance contributions. In the course you learn how both elements are connected and how to process them correctly in the return.
Yes, on completion you receive a Learnit certificate of participation. This shows that you have attended the Payroll Tax course and have mastered the material covered.
Yes, the course is also available as an in-company or tailor-made course. That is useful if several colleagues want to take the course at the same time or if you want to focus on specific situations within your own organisation. Request a quote for the options.
Taxable pay is gross pay plus taxable allowances and benefits in kind, less deductions such as the employee's pension contribution. It forms the basis for payroll tax and national insurance contributions. During the course you practise with realistic cases in order to carry out this calculation correctly.
Under the work-related costs scheme (werkkostenregeling, WKR), you as an employer can spend part of your taxable wage bill on untaxed allowances and benefits for your employees. Above that discretionary scope you pay 80% final levy. In the course you learn how to calculate the discretionary scope, which costs are specifically exempt and how to make optimal use of the WKR.
Request a quote without obligation and an adviser will get back to you shortly. Attending with one or two colleagues? Payroll Tax is scheduled 7 times over the coming year, in Amsterdam, The Hague, Rotterdam, Utrecht and Arnhem.
