Production staff often work in an environment with tight planning, repetitive work and high pressure. It is precisely there that your leadership style makes the difference between a team that ticks boxes and a team that thinks along with you.

Yes. Before the course we discuss with you what the group can already do, where things go wrong in practice and what should be different afterwards. The trainer uses examples and exercises from your own work.
That depends on the course. For a skills course we prefer to work with a small group, so that everyone can really practise. If more people are involved, we schedule several groups or set up a fixed programme.
You get a fixed price for the whole group, in a tailored quote. For a group this works out cheaper than booking everyone individually. For comparison: a place on the scheduled course costs EUR 1250,- excl. VAT per participant.

The course is intended for team leaders, foremen, shift leaders, production supervisors and operational managers who give day-to-day direction to production staff. Whether you have just moved up into a management role or have been leading a team for some time and notice that motivation or cooperation could be better, you are welcome.
You learn what drives production staff and how to respond to that as a manager. You practise effective communication, active listening and giving recognition. You also explore different leadership styles, learn to set SMART goals, resolve conflicts and recognise stress in your team. You finish with a concrete action plan for your own team.
No, no specific prior education is required. Some experience with leading a team or working in an operational role in a production environment is useful, however, as the exercises are based on situations from your own practice.
You work in a small group with plenty of room for your own cases. Theory alternates with conversation exercises, role-plays and reflection. The trainer gives personal feedback and helps you link the insights directly to your own team. You round off each day with practical action points.

Much motivation theory assumes knowledge work with a high degree of autonomy and variety. In a production environment, the work is often repetitive, tied to schedules and machines, and performance is measured in output. What does work there is concrete recognition, clear communication about the reasoning behind decisions, short feedback loops and room to contribute ideas about one's own work process. During the course you translate theory into this type of working environment.
A directive leadership style works well with inexperienced staff, tight deadlines or safety issues: you tell people what needs to happen and how. A coaching style works better with experienced staff you want to help grow: you ask questions and let them come up with solutions themselves. A good manager switches deliberately between the two styles. In the course you learn to recognise which situation calls for which style.
