Frequently asked questions about Office 365 in-company

Where does the in-company Office 365 course take place?

Wherever suits you: at your office, at one of our training locations or online. You also choose the date.

Can the content be tailored to our organisation?

Yes. Before the course we discuss with you what the group can already do, where things go wrong in practice and what should be different afterwards. The trainer uses examples and exercises from your own work.

How large can the group be?

That depends on the course. For a skills course we prefer to work with a small group, so that everyone can really practise. If more people are involved, we schedule several groups or set up a fixed programme.

What does Office 365 in-company cost?

You receive a fixed price for the whole group, in a tailored quote. For a group this works out cheaper than booking everyone individually. By way of comparison: a place on the scheduled course costs € 525,- excl. VAT per participant.

Can the course be delivered in English?

Yes. For in-company courses we deliver the training in the language of your choice, Dutch or English. Mention it in your request.

Do participants receive a certificate?

Yes, every participant receives a certificate of attendance afterwards.

How do I request a quote?

Via the quote form: state the course, the number of participants and roughly where and when you would like it. An adviser will then contact you.

How long does the Office 365 course take and what does it cost to take part?
The Office 365 course lasts one day. You take the course in a classroom setting, guided by an experienced trainer and in a small group. In a single course day you learn to work with Microsoft 365 apps such as OneDrive, Teams, Planner and OneNote, and you discover how to collaborate on documents in Word and Excel online. The current price can be found on the Learnit course page.
What do you learn during the Office 365 course?
On the Office 365 course you learn to collaborate in the cloud with OneDrive, Teams, Planner and OneNote. You discover which app to use for which task, how to share and manage documents, and how to work together online in Word and Excel. After this classroom-based day you will work more productively with Microsoft 365 within your organisation.
Who is the Office 365 course suitable for?
The Office 365 course is suitable for employees and organisations that have recently moved to Microsoft 365 and want to make full use of its potential. No specific prior education is required, but basic knowledge of Office programs such as Word and Excel is useful. The classroom course is aimed at anyone who wants to collaborate more productively in the cloud.
Which programmes and apps are covered on the Office 365 course?
During the Office 365 course you work with the main apps for online collaboration: OneDrive for cloud storage, Microsoft Teams for chatting and meetings, Planner for tasks, and OneNote for notes. You will also learn how to collaborate online in Word and Excel. On request, the trainer will demonstrate additional Office programmes. This way you know exactly which app to use for which tasks.
Do you need prior knowledge for the Office 365 course?
No specific prior knowledge is required for the Office 365 course, but basic experience with Office programs such as Word and Excel is useful. The course is aimed at users who have just moved to Office 365 and want to get to know the new possibilities. In one classroom day you receive practical explanations about collaborating in the cloud with OneDrive, Teams and Planner.
Do you receive a certificate after completing the Office 365 course?
Yes, after completing the Office 365 course you will receive a certificate of participation. This certificate confirms that you have attended the classroom course and have gained knowledge of OneDrive, Teams, Planner and online collaboration in Word and Excel, among other things. You can use the certificate to demonstrate your skills within your organisation or on your CV.
When should you opt for a classroom-based Office 365 course and when is e-learning or self-study via YouTube enough?
Classroom training works best if you want to use Office 365 across the organisation and have to make decisions about ways of working: where do you store files, how do you use Teams channels, when do you use Planner and when OneNote. You won't learn those trade-offs from individual YouTube clips. Learnit's course is classroom-based. You practise with OneDrive, Teams, Planner, OneNote and online collaboration in Word and Excel, and you can ask the trainer to demonstrate specific features. Self-study or e-learning is fine if you want to look up a single feature. If you want to set up a workable way of collaborating in the cloud, classroom training is more efficient.
What is the difference between the Office 365 course and a separate Teams or OneDrive course?
The Office 365 course is an overarching course in which you learn which program to use for which task within Microsoft 365. OneDrive, Teams, Planner, OneNote and online collaboration in Word and Excel are covered in relation to one another. A separate Teams or OneDrive course goes into one application in more depth and deals with advanced features within that single program. Choose the Office 365 course if your organisation has just made the switch and you want an overview of the entire collaboration landscape. Choose a specific Teams or OneDrive course if you already know the basics and only want to go into depth in that one program. The Office 365 course is taught in a classroom setting.
