OneNote is your digital notebook for everything you want to remember, retrieve and share. In this course you learn how to use the programme intelligently in your daily work, on your own or together with colleagues.
OneNote comes as standard with Microsoft Office and is designed to keep all your loose notes, ideas, screenshots and documents in one place. You work in notebooks with sections and pages, comparable to a paper ring binder. The difference: you can find everything again within seconds and you have it with you everywhere.
During the course you will discover how to build up notebooks, how to share information with colleagues and how to link OneNote to Outlook and other Office programs. You will learn to work with templates, tags and keyboard shortcuts, so that you work faster and in a more structured way.
You practise with practice-oriented assignments. Do you already have experience with OneNote or are you running into specific questions? Bring them along and we will look at them together during the course.
After the course you will know how to use OneNote as a digital notebook for your daily work. You build clear notebooks, share information easily with colleagues and link OneNote to Outlook. You work faster with templates and keyboard shortcuts, and you can find all your notes on any device. You will receive a Learnit certificate of participation.
The course is suitable for anyone who wants to work paperlessly, works on the move and wants access to their documents at all times, or regularly shares information with colleagues inside or outside the organisation. Think of project staff, management assistants, consultants, teachers and self-employed professionals who want to record their notes and ideas in a structured way.
You follow the course in a classroom setting in a small group, guided by an experienced trainer. At the start we discuss your entry level and what you want to get out of the course. After that we alternate short explanations with exercises on your own laptop. When you book, you indicate which version of OneNote you use, so that you train in the right environment.
You have basic experience with Windows and with the Office programs. No specific prior knowledge of OneNote is required.
Would you like to organise this training for a whole group or several groups? This can be cost-effective. For example, we can tailor the content entirely to your organisation, and training a whole group is also cheaper.
Are you looking at large numbers of participants or a complete academy? That involves a great deal. Consider planning and communication, for example, or identifying and agreeing the objectives and content of the training. Or differences in level, feedback mechanisms and safeguarding. Fortunately, Learnit has extensive experience in this field (more than 25 years) and we are happy to help you through this process.
The training is given in Dutch as standard. The trainer has a good command of English. English-language course material can be used. With a minimum enrolment of 3 participants, the training can also be given entirely in English.
When would you like to start?
In the OneNote webinar, trainer Roy demonstrates how digital notebooks are created. He also shows the various applications available. OneNote makes it easy to build up a digital archive that is then available anywhere.
At Learnit you will always find a course that takes you further. From (technical) IT skills to communication or personal leadership. You can also choose the training format that suits you best: a classroom course, a tailor-made course at your own office, an online course or an e-learning. We have the right course and the right format for everyone. Because learning in the way that suits you best delivers the best results.

Discover something new. Build on your strengths. And choose your own path. We help you grow with training courses and learning formats that genuinely suit you.
We always think in terms of possibilities and win-win. And every day we work on new solutions for tomorrow. By offering training courses that leave you well prepared for the future.
We don't make empty promises. What we do offer is quality, knowledge and experience. A broad range of courses, made possible by our inspired staff and trainers.
We listen to what matters to you. To what you need. Because that is where our solution, our tailored approach, begins. Understanding each other properly and communicating clearly: that is what we believe in.
Taking a training course at Learnit means learning together. Together with your experienced trainer, together with your course group or together with your colleagues. And whether you take the training at home, at your office or at one of our training locations, we are always available to help you. To share our knowledge with you in a way that is genuinely useful to you. Getting further together through personal attention and understanding each other well; that is what we believe in.
Learning theory from a book that you can then hardly use in your work? Not at Learnit! Whichever training you take with us, you can put it to use at your workplace straight away. Because of the unique learning objectives you set together with the trainer at the start of the training. Because of the alternation between theory and (interactive) practical assignments. And by bringing the challenges you face in your daily work along to the training.
No suitable start date? Send us a date request. Then we will look together at how we can still meet your training needs.
What others say about this course
"A very good course, highly recommended. Even with some knowledge of OneNote already, I learned a great deal and was given very useful tools for applying the many possibilities of OneNote in practice. The teaching was also clear and extremely pleasant, with plenty of room to ask questions."

OneNote is a digital notebook in which you keep everything you want to remember: meeting notes, ideas, checklists, screenshots, links and attachments. You organise it into notebooks and pages, share it with colleagues and find everything again within seconds, on any device.
Word is made for finished documents with a fixed structure. OneNote is a free canvas on which you can place notes, images, links and files independently of one another. OneNote is intended for capturing and retrieving information quickly, not for formatting documents.
Yes, OneNote works on Windows, Mac, iOS and Android, and in the browser via Office 365. Your notes synchronise automatically via OneDrive or SharePoint, so you always see the same content on your computer, tablet and smartphone. You can also work without an internet connection.
You save your notebook in OneDrive or SharePoint and share it via a link or by inviting colleagues. You specify per person whether someone may only read or also edit. Everyone sees changes immediately, which makes collaborating on projects and meetings easy.
Yes, OneNote and Outlook work closely together. You can send emails straight to OneNote, link meeting notes to a calendar appointment and turn a note into a task in Outlook. During the course you practise with these links, so you can keep track of your work more clearly.
