A two-day course just for your group. You choose the date and the place, and the trainer tailors the content to your practice beforehand.
Previously attended by employees of FrieslandCampina, TU Delft, Diamond Genetics, Cromaflo Technologies B.V and others.
Do you want to get more out of Access than just basic databases and simple queries? In this follow-up course you take the step towards real development work. You will learn how to set up relationships between tables intelligently, build complex forms, refine reports and automate tasks with macros and VBA. You will also see how Access works together with other Office programmes and with a SQL server. By the end of the course you will have a database that does exactly what you want.

“If you really want to learn this, it comes highly recommended. Do take Access for beginners first, so you have a good foundation.”
“Great to work through the material and all kinds of exercises independently. The expert trainer is always available if you have questions!”
“A very good course that fits perfectly with the practical requirements of developing and maintaining a database in Access.”
“A very complete course, and in my case with a highly skilled trainer. Prior knowledge of Access is definitely required, otherwise the course would become too complicated. A particular plus is the option to bring your own practical examples on a USB stick or similar, so you can work on them or go through specific issues with the trainer. I found the open learning format pleasant, because you can work at your own pace and have the freedom to skip parts (because you already know how to apply something) or choose your own order for the material to be covered.”
"The course caters for all kinds of levels, from beginners to advanced users. The trainer responds to that very well and you feel at home in the group straight away, despite the differences in level. I can genuinely recommend the course."
“The impression I have of Learnit is good; you can work through the material at your own pace and consult the trainer if you have questions.”
Wherever suits you: at your office, at one of our training locations or online. You also choose the date.
Yes. Before the course we discuss with you what the group can already do, where things go wrong in practice and what should be different afterwards. The trainer uses examples and exercises from your own work.
That depends on the course. For a skills course we prefer to work with a small group, so that everyone can really practise. If more people are involved, we schedule several groups or set up a fixed programme.
You receive a fixed price for the whole group, in a tailored quotation. For a group this is cheaper than booking everyone individually. For comparison: a place on the scheduled course costs € 1150,- excl. VAT per participant.
Yes. For in-company courses we deliver the training in the language of your choice, Dutch or English. Mention it in your request.
Yes, every participant receives a certificate of attendance afterwards.
Via the quote form: state the course, the number of participants and roughly where and when you would like it. An adviser will then contact you.
You learn the advanced features of Access. Think of complex forms and reports, relationships between tables, expressions and automating tasks with macros and VBA. You also learn to secure your database and exchange data with Excel, Word, Outlook and a SQL Server.
The course is suitable for anyone who already works with Access and wants to get more out of the programme. For example, employees who manage or develop databases, administrative professionals who want to link data and analysts who want to refine their reports.
You need prior knowledge at the level of Access Basics. You already work with tables, simple queries, forms and reports. Programming experience is not required.
You alternate short explanations with plenty of exercises at the computer. At the start of the course the trainer discusses your starting level and learning objectives, so that the focus is on what matters to you. You are welcome to bring your own practical examples.
The course is classroom-based, in a small group. This leaves plenty of room for personal questions and guidance. You work along actively on your own computer or laptop.
You will be guided by a skilled and personable trainer with extensive experience in Access and database development. The trainer tailors the content to the level and wishes of the group.
You will receive a Learnit certificate as proof of participation. You will also receive course materials that you can continue to use as a reference work after the course.
No specific preparation is needed. It is useful, though, to think beforehand about what you want to achieve with Access and which questions or practical examples you would like to bring along. That way the trainer can tailor the content even more precisely.
