Yes. Before the course we discuss with you what the group can already do, where things go wrong in practice and what should be different afterwards. The trainer uses examples and exercises from your own work.
That depends on the course. For a skills course we prefer to work with a small group, so that everyone can really practise. If more people are involved, we schedule several groups or set up a fixed programme.
Je krijgt een vaste prijs voor de hele groep, in een offerte op maat. Met een groep is dat voordeliger dan iedereen los inschrijven.

No, prior knowledge is not required. Your own work experience and the situations you encounter in practice form the starting point of the course.

A course day alternates theory with practice. You gain insight into the background of problem behaviour and immediately practise with role plays and case studies. There is plenty of room for your own questions and situations from your work.
Yes, this course can be delivered in-company for teams or organisations. We then tailor the content to the practical situations and target groups you work with. Request a quotation on request.
Psychotic behaviour is often characterised by a disturbed contact with reality. Someone may see, hear or believe things that are not there, come across as confused, talk incoherently or react with strong distrust. Sometimes there is also extreme fear or agitation. In the course you learn to recognise these signals and to respond to them calmly.
Start calmly, at eye level and without an accusatory tone. State specifically which behaviour you observe and what effect it has, and be clear about what you expect. Keep your choice of words simple and give the other person time to respond. Respect and equality matter, but you may also be clear and decisive about boundaries.
Request a quotation without obligation and you will hear from an adviser soon.
