"This is an online course that offers far more than self-study, yet is in no way inferior to a classroom version. The sometimes dry theory was brought to life by the trainer during the online sessions through games and practical examples."
Wherever suits you: at your office, at one of our training locations or online. You also choose the date.
Yes. Before the course we discuss with you what the group can already do, where things go wrong in practice and what should be different afterwards. The trainer uses examples and exercises from your own work.
That depends on the course. For a skills course we prefer to work with a small group, so that everyone can really practise. If more people are involved, we schedule several groups or set up a fixed programme.
You receive a fixed price for the whole group, in a tailored quotation. For a group this works out cheaper than booking everyone individually. By way of comparison: a place on the scheduled course costs € 1350,- excl. VAT per participant.
Yes. For in-company courses we deliver the training in the language of your choice, Dutch or English. Mention it in your request.
Yes, every participant receives a certificate of attendance afterwards.
Via the quote form: state the course, the number of participants and roughly where and when you would like it. An adviser will then contact you.
Yellow Belt is the entry level within Lean Six Sigma. You learn the basic principles of Lean and Six Sigma, know the main tools and can contribute to improvement projects within your organisation. Above Yellow Belt are Green Belt, Black Belt and Master Black Belt.
For anyone who wants to get to know Lean Six Sigma or who contributes to improvement projects. Think of employees, team leaders, project members and support staff in almost any sector. The course is also suitable if Lean Six Sigma is being introduced in your organisation.
No, you do not need any specific prior knowledge. Work experience in an organisation with processes or projects helps you to link the material to your own practice, but it is not a condition for taking part.
Topics include the basics of Lean and Six Sigma, the DMAIC cycle, customer value, the eight forms of waste, Value Stream Mapping, Kaizen and daily stand-ups. You also look at the roles within a Lean Six Sigma organisation.
Yes, you will receive a Learnit certificate of participation afterwards. This is not an official Yellow Belt exam certificate. Would you like an official Yellow Belt certificate? In that case, you can sit an exam with an external examination body after the course. The course prepares you well in terms of content.
The course is practical and interactive. Short blocks of theory alternate with simulations, exercises and games in which you apply the tools straight away. The small groups leave plenty of room for your own practical examples and questions.
Lean focuses on flow and reducing waste in a process. Six Sigma focuses on reducing variation and cutting errors using data. In Lean Six Sigma you combine the two: you make processes faster and more predictable, starting from what the customer wants.
DMAIC stands for Define, Measure, Analyse, Improve and Control. It is the standard improvement cycle within Lean Six Sigma. You start by defining the problem, measure how the process currently runs, analyse causes, implement improvements and embed the new situation.
