Waar vindt de incompany training Leidinggeven Uitgebreid plaats?
Wherever suits you: at your office, at one of our training locations or online. You also choose the date.
Can the content be tailored to our organisation?
Yes. Before the course we discuss with you what the group can already do, where things go wrong in practice and what should be different afterwards. The trainer uses examples and exercises from your own work.
How large can the group be?
That depends on the course. For a skills course we prefer to work with a small group, so that everyone can really practise. If more people are involved, we schedule several groups or set up a fixed programme.

Yes. For in-company courses we deliver the training in the language of your choice, Dutch or English. Mention it in your request.
Do participants receive a certificate?
Yes, every participant receives a certificate of attendance afterwards.
How do I request a quote?
Via the quote form: state the course, the number of participants and roughly where and when you would like it. An adviser will then contact you.
How long does the Leadership Comprehensive course last?
The Leadership Extended course lasts five days. The programme combines Leadership Basics, an in-depth module on Situational Leadership and Coaching Leadership. In the classroom you work step by step on directing, aligning and coaching. This way you build a solid foundation and explore the various sides of your role as a manager.
Which topics are covered in the Leadership Comprehensive course?
The course covers three core themes: leadership as a foundation (role, communication, steering on behaviour, feedback, delegating), situational leadership (recognising four styles and development levels) and coaching leadership (coaching skills, conversation structure and increasing ownership). You practise with your own cases and learn to switch consciously between directing, adjusting and coaching in your day-to-day practice.
Who is the Leadership Comprehensive course suitable for?
The course is suitable for managers who want to deepen their skills and learn to switch between directing, aligning and coaching. No specific prior knowledge is required. A basic understanding of leadership helps, but is not compulsory. The programme is well suited to team leaders, managers and coordinators who work with diverse teams and want to make more conscious choices in their day-to-day role.
Is prior knowledge required for the Leadership Comprehensive course?
No, no specific prior knowledge is required for the Leadership Comprehensive course. A basic understanding of leadership can help, but is not necessary. Anyone who wants to develop in situational and coaching leadership can take part. You bring in your own practical situations, so some work experience in a managerial or supervisory role does make the programme immediately applicable.
What is the teaching method of the Leadership Comprehensive course?
The Leadership Comprehensive course is taught in a classroom setting and consists of five course days with a practical, varied approach. You work with short theoretical explanations, exercises, reflection and your own cases from your team. Between the days you apply what you have learned directly at work. This structure allows you to translate insights straight into concrete actions in your day-to-day role as a manager.
Do you receive a certificate after the Leadership Comprehensive course?
Yes, on completion of the Leadership Comprehensive course you receive a Learnit certificate of participation. This certificate confirms that you have followed the entire programme, including leadership basics, situational leadership and the in-depth coaching leadership component. There is no exam attached to the course; active participation in all course days is sufficient.
Why should I choose this comprehensive programme instead of just the Leadership Basics course?
The Leadership Basics course focuses on your role, positioning, communication, feedback, delegating and managing behaviour and results. This comprehensive programme adds depth to that: Situational Leadership (the four styles of instructing, coaching, supporting and delegating, and recognising development levels) and Coaching Leadership (listening at different levels, probing questions, the structure of a coaching conversation and increasing ownership). You choose the comprehensive programme if, on top of the basics, you also want to learn to switch deliberately between directing, adapting and coaching. For managers with a few years of experience who want to broaden their repertoire, that difference is relevant. For a first introduction to the role, the basics course is sufficient.
What is the difference between situational leadership and coaching leadership, and why are both part of this programme?
Situational leadership and coaching leadership are two different approaches that complement each other. With situational leadership you switch between four styles (instructing, coaching, supporting and delegating) based on the task maturity of your employee. You adapt your style to what the situation and the person need at that moment. Coaching leadership goes a layer deeper: you guide employees in their development using skills such as listening at different levels, asking follow-up questions, summarising and confronting with respect. You work on ownership and turn your urge to rescue into helpful behaviour. Both are covered in this programme, because good leadership requires you to know when to direct, when to support and when to coach. Day 3 deals with switching between styles, days 4 and 5 go deeper into coaching conversations.
