Wherever suits you: at your office, at one of our training locations or online. You also choose the date.
Yes. Before the course we discuss with you what the group can already do, where things go wrong in practice and what should be different afterwards. The trainer uses examples and exercises from your own work.
That depends on the course. For a skills course we prefer to work with a small group, so that everyone can really practise. If more people are involved, we schedule several groups or set up a fixed programme.
Je krijgt een vaste prijs voor de hele groep, in een offerte op maat. Met een groep is dat voordeliger dan iedereen los inschrijven. Ter vergelijking: een plek in de open training kost € 2025,- excl. btw per deelnemer.
Yes. For in-company courses we deliver the training in the language of your choice, Dutch or English. Mention it in your request.
Yes, every participant receives a certificate of attendance afterwards.
Via the quote form: state the course, the number of participants and roughly where and when you would like it. An adviser will then contact you.
You will learn how to build, manage and adjust a project portfolio based on your organisation's strategy. You work with Agile as a way of working and IPMA as a structure, and learn to prioritise, allocate budgets, monitor progress and measure results with KPIs.
The course is intended for portfolio managers, programme managers, project leaders, PMO staff and managers who are responsible for a project portfolio. It is also suitable if you are moving into a role in which you manage several projects at the same time.
You do not need any specific prior education. Experience with project-based working or a project role helps you translate the material to your own work more quickly, but it is not a requirement.
Yes, afterwards you receive a Learnit certificate of participation. This certificate shows that you have completed the Portfolio Management course.
Yes, you can take the Portfolio Management course in-company with your team or organisation. We then tailor the content to your portfolio, projects and way of working. Contact us for a bespoke quotation.
The course has an interactive set-up. Theory alternates with practical examples, role plays and assignments. There is plenty of room to bring in your own cases and to exchange ideas with the trainer and fellow participants.
Project management focuses on the successful delivery of a single project: scope, planning, budget and quality. Portfolio management operates one level higher and looks at the projects as a whole. Which projects do we take on and which not, which get priority, and how does the mix align with the organisation's strategy? In this course, you learn to work at that portfolio level.
IPMA gives you the structure of the portfolio: roles, frameworks, monitoring and control. Agile gives you the way of working: adjusting course in short sprints based on feedback and results. Together they ensure that your portfolio stays tight on the strategic main line and flexible in execution. In the course you learn how to apply both methods alongside each other.
