First impressions are often formed within a few seconds. During a job interview, that first impression determines how much scope you are then given to show who you are. In this course you learn to take and use that scope deliberately.

Ratings from participants after completing their course, across all courses by this trainer.
“The trainer paid close attention to my non-verbal behaviour and gave tips on how I could change it. By filming my presentation of myself, I could see for myself how I was doing. She then asked me to give my own response to what I thought of it all. In this way you become very aware of where the problem lies.”
“First of all, I would like to thank the organisation and with it the trainer for this course. I would also like to thank my fellow participants for their openness, their vulnerability and their feedback. This course is very well designed, covering not only the theory but above all the practical side. Personally, I do not like being recorded on video. It is very confronting, but extremely instructive. You are given positive points to work on. Points that really help you to apply for jobs successfully.”
“I thought the course I took at Learnit was very good. Good content and structure, and everyone got a turn.”
“Very useful course. Covers all aspects of job applications. Skilled and professional trainer who shows genuine involvement.”
“Professional organisation, everything neatly arranged.”
“With this instructive 'job application' course my chances on the labour market will certainly improve!”
Wherever suits you: at your office, at one of our training locations or online. You also choose the date.
Yes. Before the course we discuss with you what the group can already do, where things go wrong in practice and what should be different afterwards. The trainer uses examples and exercises from your own work.
That depends on the course. For a skills course we prefer to work with a small group, so that everyone can really practise. If more people are involved, we schedule several groups or set up a fixed programme.
You get a fixed price for the whole group, in a tailored quotation. For a group this works out cheaper than registering everyone individually. For comparison: a place on the scheduled course costs EUR 625,- excl. VAT per participant.
Yes. For in-company courses we deliver the training in the language of your choice, Dutch or English. Mention it in your request.
Yes, every participant receives a certificate of attendance afterwards.
Via the quote form: state the course, the number of participants and roughly where and when you would like it. An adviser will then contact you.
You will learn how to conduct a job interview in which you radiate calm, present yourself convincingly and answer and ask the right questions. The course works from four pillars: self-knowledge, presentation, persuasiveness and preparation. You practise with real interview situations and receive personal feedback on your posture, use of voice and story.
The course is suitable for anyone who wants to improve their chances on the job market. Think of people starting out on the job market, people applying for jobs again after a long period, or professionals who find that they are often invited for interviews but rarely get the job. If nerves get the better of you during an interview, you are also in the right place here.
No, no prior knowledge is required. It does help if you have a current job application or vacancy in mind, so that you can work on your own situation during the exercises.
Yes, afterwards you receive a Learnit certificate of participation. With it you show that you have taken this course and have worked purposefully on your job application skills.
Yes, the course is also available as an in-company or bespoke programme. We then tailor the content to the specific situation of your group, for example for redeployment candidates or employees in a transition process. Please contact us to discuss the options.
A training day consists of short pieces of theory alternated with exercises and role plays. You hold conversations with the trainer and with the other participants, and receive feedback after each exercise. Because the group is small, there is plenty of room for your own situation and job application goals.
A good first impression is created in the first seconds of a conversation and is determined by your posture, your gaze, your handshake and the way you introduce yourself. It is important to come in calmly, make eye contact and say briefly and clearly who you are. During the course you practise this moment explicitly, so that you notice what works and what you can still sharpen up.
Difficult questions, such as those about weak points, a gap in your CV or a conflict with a previous employer, call for preparation. The essence is: stay honest, keep it brief and link your answer to what you learnt from it or how you now approach things differently. During the course you practise with these kinds of questions and you are given a structure that allows you to answer calmly and convincingly.
Request a quote without obligation; you will hear from an adviser shortly. Just one or two colleagues? Successful Job Applications is scheduled 4 times in the coming year, in Amsterdam, Utrecht and The Hague.
