“As far as I am concerned, this was a tailor-made course. The objectives were properly mapped out beforehand and all of them were more than achieved. The balance between theory and exercises was excellent, as was the way the two alternated.”

Frequently asked questions about Mindfulness in-company

Where does the in-company Mindfulness course take place?

Wherever suits you: at your office, at one of our training locations or online. You also choose the date.

Can the content be tailored to our organisation?

Yes. Before the course we discuss with you what the group can already do, where things go wrong in practice and what should be different afterwards. The trainer uses examples and exercises from your own work.

How large can the group be?

That depends on the course. For a skills course we prefer to work with a small group, so that everyone can really practise. If more people are involved, we schedule several groups or set up a fixed programme.

What does Mindfulness in-company cost?

You receive a fixed price for the whole group, in a tailored quote. For a group this works out cheaper than booking everyone individually. By way of comparison: a place on the scheduled course costs € 1875,- excl. VAT per participant.

Can the course be delivered in English?

Yes. For in-company courses we deliver the training in the language of your choice, Dutch or English. Mention it in your request.

Do participants receive a certificate?

Yes, every participant receives a certificate of attendance afterwards.

How do I request a quote?

Via the quote form: state the course, the number of participants and roughly where and when you would like it. An adviser will then contact you.

What is mindfulness?

Mindfulness is a form of attention training in which you learn to be consciously present in the current moment, without judging your thoughts and feelings. The method was developed by Jon Kabat-Zinn and is used worldwide to reduce stress and experience greater calm and focus.

Who is the mindfulness course suitable for?

The course is suitable for anyone looking for more calm, focus and awareness. Think of people with stress or burnout symptoms, a lot of brooding thoughts, or the feeling of living on autopilot. You do not need any prior knowledge or experience with meditation.

Do I need any prior knowledge for the mindfulness course?

No, no prior knowledge is required. An open attitude and a willingness to practise with the techniques provided are enough to complete the course successfully.

Which techniques will I learn during the mindfulness course?

You are introduced to various forms of meditation, breathing exercises, the body scan, attention training and concentration exercises. You also work with practical assignments that help you apply mindfulness in your daily life.

Does mindfulness help with stress and burnout?

Yes, mindfulness is a proven effective method for dealing with stress better. By paying conscious attention to what you feel and think, you learn to recognise signs of overload sooner and to respond more consciously instead of automatically pressing on.

Do I receive a certificate after the mindfulness course?

Yes, after completing the course you receive a Learnit certificate of attendance. This confirms that you have taken the course.

What is the difference between mindfulness and meditation?

Meditation is an exercise in which you train your attention, often in a quiet setting. Mindfulness is a broader attitude of paying conscious and open attention to everything you do and experience, including during daily activities such as working, eating or holding a conversation. Meditation is an important aid in this.

How do I apply mindfulness in my daily work?

During the course you practise short moments of attention that you can easily build into your working day. Think of breathing consciously before a meeting, listening with full attention in a conversation, or pausing between tasks to clear your head. This stops you racing along on autopilot and helps you preserve focus and energy.
