Yes. Before the course we discuss with you what the group can already do, where things go wrong in practice and what should be different afterwards. The trainer uses examples and exercises from your own work.
That depends on the course. For a skills course we prefer to work with a small group, so that everyone can really practise. If more people are involved, we schedule several groups or set up a fixed programme.
Je krijgt een vaste prijs voor de hele groep, in een offerte op maat. Met een groep is dat voordeliger dan iedereen los inschrijven.

You learn to identify, analyse, prioritise and control risks systematically. You work with the COSO, ISO 31000 and M_o_R frameworks, draw up a risk matrix and risk register, design risk indicators and learn to report to management and stakeholders. The course is practical: you work on your own cases and go home with a risk file you can put to use.
The course is intended for project managers, programme managers, entrepreneurs, financial managers, controllers, compliance officers, policy advisers, quality managers and line managers who want a firmer grip on risks within their project or organisation.
No specific prior knowledge is required. Work experience in a project, management or advisory role helps you translate the material to your own practice, as you work on your own cases during the course.
You work with the three most widely used international frameworks: COSO ERM, ISO 31000 and M_o_R (Management of Risk). You learn what distinguishes the models, when to use which model and how to combine elements of them into an approach that suits your organisation.
Yes. After actively taking part in all three course days, you receive a Learnit certificate of attendance.

Risk management focuses on identifying, analysing and controlling risks in advance, with the aim of preventing unwanted events or limiting their impact. Crisis management is about acting during and immediately after an incident that has already occurred. Sound risk management reduces the likelihood that you will have to manage a crisis and ensures that, if things do go wrong, you are better prepared.
A risk matrix is a table in which you plot risks on two axes: the likelihood of the risk occurring and the impact if it does. By scoring risks on both axes you get a visual overview of which risks deserve the most attention. The matrix helps you prioritise: high likelihood and high impact first, low likelihood and low impact accepted or monitored. During the course you draw up a risk matrix yourself for your own project or organisation.
