What will I learn in this course?

You learn to program in C# with Microsoft Visual Studio. You start with data types, flow control and methods and move on to object-oriented programming with classes, objects, inheritance and polymorphism. You also learn to work with interfaces, collections, generics, delegates, events and exception handling. Afterwards you will be able to build C# applications independently.

Who is this course for?

The course is intended for programmers who already have experience with another programming language, such as Java, Python, PHP or C++. Are you looking to make the move to the Microsoft platform, or do you increasingly work with .NET applications? Then you are in the right place.

What prior knowledge do I need?

You have experience with at least one other programming language and are familiar with concepts such as variables, functions, loops and conditions. Experience with object-oriented programming is useful, but not required. We cover the object-oriented concepts during the course.

What does the course look like?

You work in small groups under the guidance of an experienced trainer. Theory is explained using slides and examples, after which you start programming in Visual Studio yourself. In this way explanation and practice alternate continuously and you build up your C# knowledge step by step.

What is the delivery format?

The course is classroom-based. You are taught on site at Learnit, in a group with other participants. This leaves plenty of scope for questions, tailored explanation and direct feedback on your code.

Description

During this course you will work in Microsoft Visual Studio and learn step by step how to build programs. Prior knowledge

You have experience with at least one other programming language. It does not matter much which one, as long as you know the basic concepts such as variables, functions, loops and conditions. Prior knowledge of object-oriented programming is an advantage, but not a requirement. We cover the object-oriented concepts during the course.
