In this SQL e-learning course you will learn, at your own pace, to retrieve data from relational databases. You will write queries, pull data from multiple tables and perform calculations. A year's access to videos, exercises and quizzes.
In this SQL e-learning course you get to work with Structured Query Language, the query language you use to retrieve and edit data from a relational database. You work with queries to select and manipulate data and to adjust table structures.
The course is in English and consists of videos, lectures, quizzes and exercises. Working through all the content takes approximately 16 hours. You set your own pace and have access to the material for a year after activation, so you can revisit topics at a later date.
You learn the basic variant of SQL, which is applicable to all common relational databases. Differences with variants such as Oracle SQL are covered, so you can apply the knowledge you gain broadly.
The following topics are covered during this e-learning course:
After this e-learning course you will know how relational databases work and you will be able to write SQL queries independently to retrieve data from a database. You select and sort records, filter with the WHERE clause and apply Boolean operators. You also perform calculations, use built-in functions for data manipulation and retrieve data from multiple tables with subqueries, joins and unions. In addition, you work with conditional processing via CASE. You can apply the knowledge you gain to all common relational databases.
This e-learning course is intended for anyone who works, or wants to work, with relational databases and retrieve data using SQL. Think of data analysts, reporting specialists, developers, testers, functional administrators and students who want to master SQL. No prior knowledge of SQL is required. Basic computer skills and a logical way of thinking are enough to work through the material smoothly.
You take this course entirely online as e-learning. You work through videos, short lectures, quizzes and practical exercises at your own pace. The complete programme takes approximately 16 hours, but you decide when and for how long you study.
After activation you have access to all content for a year. This means you can revisit topics at a later moment at your leisure. The course is in English and you learn by doing: you write queries yourself and apply the material to realistic examples from the Northwind database.
No specific prior knowledge is required for this e-learning course. Basic experience working with a computer is enough. The course is in English, so a reasonable command of English is useful in order to follow the videos and exercises properly.
This e-learning course is in English. After activation you have access to all content for a year and set your own pace. Allow roughly 16 hours of videos, lectures, quizzes and exercises.

Learning theory from a book that you can then hardly use in your work? Not at Learnit! Whichever training you take with us, you can put it to use at your workplace straight away. Because of the unique learning objectives you set together with the trainer at the start of the training. Because of the alternation between theory and (interactive) practical assignments. And by bringing the challenges you face in your daily work along to the training.
